ELLA BARBARA FOWLER (nee APPLER) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ella on Sunday, November 22, 2015. She had a wonderfully keen sense of humor for all of her 98 years. Ella’s kind and compassionate personality was enjoyed by all she knew. Remaining to forever cherish Ella’s memory are her granddaughter, Kira; “daughter” Monica Franklin; and all of her family in Ontario. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Rod (2002); as well as her parents Ben and Charlotte Appler. Ella spent several years sewing in the needlecraft industry, then finishing her working years at Muir’s Drug Store, where she enjoyed many years. She loved to cook, bake and sew, which she took to doing for others to earn extra money. This fulfilled her other love – travel. Ella travelled the world, capturing every moment with pictures and diaries to be enjoyed for years. In respecting Ella’s wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held.
