EMMA CHURCHILL (nee BITTNER) Peacefully at the River Park Gardens Care Home on Sunday, May 4, 2014, Mrs. Emma Churchill of Winnipeg, MB (previously of Morris, MB) passed away at the age of 99 years. Left to mourn Emma are her two sons Alan Churchill of Victoria, BC and Don Churchill of London, England; four grandchildren, Luke Churchill, Joshua Churchill, Noah Wheelock and Joshua Wheelock. She also leaves to mourn two sisters, Hilda Shimonek and Elsie Lemke; and numerous nieces; nephews; relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Churchill; two sisters Lydia Shimonek and Pauline Sheppard; and one brother, Bill Bittner. On Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. a reception for friends and relatives will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard.
