It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Health Science Centre, at the age of 87 years.
Eric is survived by daughters, Valerie and Ardis (husband Leo); granddaughters, Shaylyn, Chelsea and Alyssa; brothers, Fred, Wally and Arnold; sisters, Marlene, Caroline and Sheila; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosanna (Rose); mother, Helga; father, Gustov; and sister, Pauline.
Eric will always be remembered as a dedicated family man whose passion was hunting and fishing.
The family would like to recognize the dedicated staff at The Health Science Centre’s Surgical Intensive Care Unit doctors, and all of his nurses for their excellent care and compassion during this time.

The families of Eric and Rose Johnson would like to express their deepest love and devotion to the treasured memories that were created over their 55 years of Marriage (April 30, 1960).
On Monday, May 11, 2015 Rose and Eric’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik?s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue, Winnipeg, with a reception to follow.
