ERIC  LUDWIK  WAZNY
    After a courageous battle with cancer; it is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Eric Wazny on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the age of 70 years. He spent his last days at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.   Eric is survived by his loving wife of 48 years of marriage, Barbara Wazny; daughter, Karen Gill (Jag Gill); sister, Evelyn Prucyk; mother in law, Frances Gursky; sisters in law, Margaret Schilke (Don Schilke), Gwen Miller (Gary Shimun), Myrna Wazny; brothers in law, Glenn Gursky (Deb Roberts), Dwayne Gursky and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Walter Wazny; mother, Victoria Wazny; brother, Robert Wazny; sister, Jane Wazny; father in law, Joseph Gursky; brother in law, Leon Prucyk and sister in law, Karen Gursky.   On April 26, 1947 Eric was born in Selkirk, Manitoba and was raised on the family farm in Oak Hammock, Manitoba. Once moving to Winnipeg, he worked as a Purchasing Agent for Manitoba Bridge, while still continuing to help his brother and parents maintain the farm. His greatest pride however, was becoming a stay at home Dad to help raise his daughter, Karen.
