Ernie will be sadly missed by his children, Lori (Leonard), Gary (Cindy), Connie (Patrick), Iris (Randy), Stuart (Bev), Shelly (Travis); 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Werner (Eva); sisters Helga (Lorin), Lillian (Lawrence); sister-in-law Pat; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn and brother Hans. On Thursday, October 30, 2014, Ernie’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, 403 – 1st Street N., Beausejour, MB. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Khan and staff of the Beausejour Hospital for their care and compassion.
