ERWIN DANIEL KLANN
   On Saturday, September 2, 2017, Erwin passed away at Grace Hospital, at the age of 71 years.   Erwin will be sadly missed by Elaine, his loving wife of 25 years, and lovingly remembered by his children, Ryan (Holly) and Tara (Neil); grandchildren, Michaela, Jessica and Kira; stepchildren, Kevin (Diana) and Kim (Dale); step-grandchildren, Jacob, Reneé, Oliver, Drew, Miles and Zlata as well as three sisters, Evelyn, Tillie and Myrtle. He was predeceased by parents Karl and Bertha and brothers, Arthur, Alfred, Walter, Rudy and Skip.   Erwin grew up and went to school in Thalberg, Manitoba. He worked for ICE Manufacturing for more than 30 years. He married Roni Carnochan in 1975. In 1977, Ryan was born and Tara followed in 1979. For all of his adult life, Erwin followed his love of music and played in many bands. From violin to guitar, Erwin had a natural talent for music making and could pick up any musical instrument and play a song.   On Thursday, September 14, 2017, Erwin’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Messiah Lutheran Church, 400 Rouge Road, Winnipeg.   The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Grace Hospital for their care and compassion.   In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Erwin’s memory to Parkinson Canada.   Wojcik’s Funeral Chapels & Crematoriums, Winnipeg, 2157 Portage Avenue, 204.897.4665 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com
