ETHAN EMERIE STOCK Suddenly, on Thursday, November 6, 2014, Ethan died in his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 37 years. Left to forever remember Ethan are his brother Gideon and Gideon’s fiancé Kristin; sister Cynthia and husband Michael; niece and nephew Mayah and Noah; sister Sarah; mother and father, Ron and Rita Stock; three year old daughter Summer; as well as her mother, Angel Derksen. Ethan was born October 8, 1977. He was employed at Federated Co-op. He was a lifer at St. John’s Ravenscourt School, where Ethan graduated with honours. He participated in many sports such as soccer, skiing, golf, hockey and baseball. He loved the outdoors, football and motorsports. Ethan was also an avid motorcycle rider and snowmobiler. He was awarded the Governor General’s award upon graduating from Red River College where he was president for a term and operated the Red River radio station. Ethan was a talented guitarist and artist. There was no one he loved more than his daughter Summer, and was an excellent father. On Saturday, November 15, 2014, Ethan’s funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in The Bridge Church, 620 Oxbow Bend, located at the southwest corner of Portage Avenue and the West Perimeter, Winnipeg, MB.
