EVELYN MAYOR (nee MITCHELL) Peacefully, after a brief illness, Mother passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 83 years. Left to mourn Evelyn’s passing are Beverly Letvak (Greg), Deborah Dumas (Jacques), Vern Mayor; grandchildren, Candace Cousineau (Dominic), Shane Fowler, Adam Wasyliw (Tara); great-granddaughter Natasha; cousins the Hain family in Scotland, Brown family and the Mayor family, too many to mention. A special thanks to Dean Parsons. She was predeceased by husband Cliff; parents; sisters Cathy, Grace, Rose; and all of her in-laws – she was the last of the Mayor girls. Evelyn was born September 6, 1929 in Edinburgh Scotland. In compliance with Evelyn’s wishes there will be no Funeral Service. Interment will take place at a later date in Amaranth MB beside Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn’s name may be made to the Health Sciences Foundation, MS 820 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
