Franjo, loving husband, father and grandfather suddenly passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 69.
Franjo is survived and missed by Anica, his wife of almost 50 years of marriage; children Ivan and Rose; granddaughters Jennifer-Rose and Melanie; his family back in Croatia and the Schilling and Koso families.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg. Interment will follow in St. Vital Parish Cemetery, 826 Crescent Drive, Winnipeg. All are welcome to join us for a reception after the funeral at the St. Vital Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations in Franjo’s memory may be made to the Bergen Cardiac Care Clinic of Winnipeg and CancerCare Manitoba.
