FREDERICK (FRED) WILLIAM SKOROPATA Peacefully, after a lengthy illness and a courageous battle with liver cancer, with deep regret we announce the death of Fred on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 69 years. Left behind with great memories of fun times with Fred are family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents and daughter. Fred served in the Canadian Navy for four years and was a respected member of the Army and Navy Branch 283. In compliance with Fred’s wishes no funeral service will be held. Special thanks to Kelley, his life partner for the excellent care she provided during his illness. Donations in Fred’s memory may be made to the Cancer Care Manitoba.
