GEORGE ADAMS (ZBIGNIEW KUBIAK) After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of George Adams. On Tuesday, March 11, 2014 George passed at the Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 88 years. He lived in Winnipeg most of his adult life. George is survived by his brother Jan Kubiak of Warsaw, Poland; nieces and nephews of Poland, United States and France. He was predeceased by his sister Krystna Milewska. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Special thank you to the caregivers (nurses, doctors and aides) at Victoria Memorial Hospital, Holy Family Nursing Home and everyone who made George comfortable in his final days.
