Even though he didn't raise me and we had only been in touch these past 8 years, I will miss him dearly. RIP George

George was a loving and caring person. He lived to please people. When I came into his life he was so alone but he was still very happy loving caring and always trying to please people. I ask him how would you want someone to treat you? He look at me said I don't no. He didn't no because he was always looking out for other people's happiness. My family and I love George as a friend, person, man, stepdad, papa George and my love husband. I am so happy that he came into your life's. Love you and you will always be my love and my cutie pie. We will always cherish your memories

George is the greatest, genuine person I've ever met. Although I have not had much time with him, I'm glad I had a chance to know the man. Being able to share good times, smiles and laughs to his very last days. A little something I wrote entitled 'Dana'; DANA Lost, alone, nearly gave up on life. Met my mother, gained a family, gained a wife. There were no words to express goodbye, but a caress, a tear, a sigh.Till we meet again my friend, cherish thy memories my heart shall lend.By Tony Joshua Shorting RIP George

Dana; I am sorry we were never closer. We were 12 years apart in age and I moved away from home when you were very young. We never lived in the same province after. I will always remember the trip you made to visit mum and dad in Nova Scotia and you met John and I for lunch on the way through Burlington. You were healthy and happy then and I think happy now. That is my best memory and I will cherish it.

I worked with George years ago and enjoyed chatting with him. I was so sad to hear of his health issues. He was a very caring man with a big heart.
