GEORGE EDWARD TOON
It is with sadness we announce the passing of George Toon on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Vista Park Lodge, at the age of 90 years. Remaining to forever cherish George’s memory is his wife of 68 years of marriage, Sylvia. He was also a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and brother-in-law. George was retired from Dictaphone which gave him more time to pursue his lifelong hobbies of renovation, furniture building and his usually successful “tinkering” with anything that needed to be fixed. He loved fishing and shared that passion with his family over many summer vacations and day trips. We were all very fortunate to celebrate George’s 90th birthday earlier in July. A celebration of George’s life has been held. Sylvia wishes to thank all the excellent staff of Nova Vista Lodge for their care of George.
