Doreen, I am deeply saddened, by the passing away of Jerry. Jerry was a good friend and a good man. He played a key role during my RCIA classes at St. Ignatius Church, during my baptism, and in my marriage. I will fondly remember the good times after the sunday masses, during church events, and the special trip Jerry and you made to Calgary to visit with late Hanna during her difficult times. When I spoke to Jerry recently I said I will visit him before end of the year, but the lord had other plans. Please accept my sincere condolence. Jerry will be sadly missed and will be in my thoughts and prayers.Basil Chandren, Calgary

Doreen and Family. I am so sorry to hear that Gerry has passed away. I have always enjoyed talking with him about his family, his trips and the business. Even when his health was giving him trouble his family was his main concern. He will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Jerry at several different store locations. One of my fondest memories was having our 1/2 hour lunches together as he ate his favourites--either a big pot of spaghetti or sardines and onions. Rest in peace Flash. Our sincerest condolences. - Jerry and Donna Kolbuck

I worked with Jerry in the late 70s early 80s at Kodiak Parking, sweeping and line painting. We would start after he got off work at MLCC. He was an honest, hard worker and we spent many memorable nights together. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. A truly great guy.
