GLADYS ISABELLA TODD (nee HEBENTON) On Tuesday, December 11, 2012 Gladys passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital at the age of 76 years. Remaining to forever cherish Gladys’ memory are her brother Andy (Gail) Hebenton; daughters Leslie, Dawn (Norm), Bonnie (Todd), Marnie (Bruce); son Grant (Andrea); as well as grandchildren, Sara (Geoff), Megan, Jason (Bre-ann), Justin, Dylan, Courtney, Troy, Colin, Paige and Murphy; and many other family and friends. Gladys will be dearly remembered by her beloved children and grandchildren. Her kindness and generosity touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Both friends and strangers felt warmth in her company and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Gladys was a sports fan through and through. She loved spending time watching her children and grandchildren compete in their various sports. Rain or shine, warm or cold they could count on her smiling face to be in the stands. Gladys’ memorial reception will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a brief tribute from the family at 1:30 p.m. in the Holiday Inn West, 2520 Portage Avenue at Moray Street. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Gladys’ name may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. The family wishes to thank her dear friends for all of their support throughout her life, as well as the staff of the Grace Hospital who showed kindness and compassion in caring for her.
