Obituaries

On behalf of the Sherbino (Pfeifer) family, we extend our deepest sympathies in the loss of Gord Cole. Gord was a huge presence in our lives. Our families were very close and the memories we have of all the amazing trips and family time we spent together will live on in our hearts forever. In some ways, the Cole family was an extension of the Sherbino family for many many years. We send loving thoughts to Pat, Deanna, Denise and family. We sure lost a “good one”..

My most sincere condolences to Gord's family, Pat, Deanna, Denise and families. I got to know Gord when we met at the Fort Rouge Curling Club, his home away from home, and we became friends. He often mentioned his family plus he was very competitive when it came to sports, especially curling. R.I.P. my friend.

I was so saddened to hear of Gord's passing. He was always so generous with his time , whether running out to pick up vehicles for me, or helping out in the garage . His friendship meant the world to me as did our visits in the garage, where we would discuss at great length what was going on with the Jets. He loved to check out the my latest purchases and a few times we shared a burger from the curling club. It always made me smile when we would chat in the lane as he was driving by or I saw him coming down to see me. One of the best people I have ever had the good fortune to know. Deepest condolences to the family.....he will be missed !!
