My condolences to the Rowland family. Gordie was one of the nicest people I ever knew. He never forgot you, even though many years might have passed. He and Joan were a wonderful pair and execplary parents. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all. Beverley Ransom (Savoie)

My condolences in the passing of Gordon. He was my favorite Blue Bomber and a person I looked up to in my teenage years. I always looked forward to his Delta visits, often accompanied by Bud Grant and other Bomber players. I have, and cherish, a number 97 Bomber jersey he gave me back in the 50's. It had been well used, torn, and repaired at least once. Albert

Jill and family...We are so sorry to hear the news of Mr Rowland’s passing. Although it has been many years we still think of him and your family often. We will always remember and appreciate him rolling up his sleeves and helping us paint our newly renovated home. Ironically I was just saying to Lloyd yesterday we need Jill’s dad back here to help paint as we have just had a major water damage mishap. Know that we are thinking of you and remembering a wonderful man.

Very sorry to hear of Gordie's passing....my sincere condolences to his family. We met when I was in University and he coached Bison Football. He was a mentor, not just in football but life lessons as well. I owe a lot to Gordie and his guidance and feel privledged to have known him. He will be missed.
