My sincere condolences to Paul, Leslie and the rest of Helen’s family on the passing of your treasured Helen. She was indeed smart, compassionate and understanding. I had the pleasure of knowing Helen when she worked at Transport Canada. Her office was on the same floor on the way to the kitchen area and when her door was open, I’d stop in to say hello and we would chat about all kinds of things and share a laugh. Helen’s caring and gentle nature was evident during those conversations as was her love for her family. A gentle, and caring soul taken far too soon. Debbie Mayers, St. Andrews, MB

My sincerest condolences to Helen's family. I was fortunate to work with Helen as a Human Resources colleague at Transport Canada for several years and will always remember her quiet, gentle and genuinely caring ways. Not only was she a dedicated counsellor but her love of family always came up in our many talks. Our daughters were playing hockey at the same time, so we always had lots to talk about!!! A bright light and beautiful smile taken far too soon. Carole McGetrick, former Transport Canada colleague

I'd like to express my condolences to Helen's family for her loss. I was one of Helen's clients right up to the point when she had to stop practicing. Helen changed my life. She changed who I am as a person. I have never met a person as warm, compassionate, empathetic, or insightful as Helen. But at the same time she didn't pull her punches. She had a significant impact on my life and I am grateful for having the time i did with her. I will forever be in her debt. To her family please know she was loved and cherished by so many and her loss is felt far and wide. The world is a better place for having Helen been here.

Jennifer, Coby, Leslie and Family, As you know, I have known your Mother for almost 50 years and was so saddened to learn of her passing. I considered her a friend rather than a patient. She was always so positive and pleasant and just special to be around. May her memory be a blessing. My deepest condolences to all of you. Alan and Marlene Schweid
