It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Helga Kube, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the age of 83 years.
Left to mourn Helga are her son, Harry (Carolyn); daughter Marilyn (Frank); grandchildren, Kevin, Jenna (Ryan), Sarah, Leah, Jenna and Arran; great-grandchild Taylor; brothers, Gunther, Rudi and Walter; as well as sisters, Hanelore and Ingrid. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred, and her sister Margaret Fuhrman.
Helga worked many years at the Toronto Dominion Bank. She enjoyed traveling and camping. She loved baking and watching her favourite sports, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
On Monday, May 11, 2015 Helga?s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street with Pastor Kolleen Karlowsky ? Clark presider. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespler Avenue.
The family extends a heart-felt thank-you to the staff at Kildonan Care Centre for their care and compassion.
