HENDRIKUS (HANK) THEUNISSEN January 2, 1935 – December 21, 2014 On Sunday, December 21, 2014 Hank left to join his beloved daughter, Rhonda, who predeceased him in 2003. Hank will be greatly missed by his mate of 25 years, Ethel; stepsons, Jeff (Jody), Bill (Corinne); daughters of his heart ‘Sherry-My-Hunnie’ (Al), Carol Ann (Gerry) and many friends and family. Of his eight siblings, he will be missed by Hendrika, Gerarda, Theodorus (Lucia), Mathilda (Babula), Lambertus and sister-in-law, Geri. Also missing him will be furry friends Frick, Frack and Hemi. Hank was predeceased by siblings, Leo, Lamberta, Geertruida, their spouses and brother-in-law Ben. Born in the Netherlands Hank immigrated to Manitoba in 1957. He had many careers in his few years in Winnipeg and 40 years in Beausejour. While in Beausejour he worked for Polaris, several local hotels, ran his own business and worked in Protective Services at Atomic Energy of Canada as a Firefighter/Security. His retirement project was restoring a log house in Ste Rita, MB. He did volunteer work for the CPTC, Masonic Lodge, Ste Rita Community Club and many other areas where a helping hand was needed. Working was Hank’s hobby and he never shied away from a ‘spirited discussion’. Hank loved a good debate. As per Hank’s request there will be no service.
