Henry will be surely missed in the shuffleboard league, his competitiveness was what made other shuffleboard players strive to become better at their game..just so they could beat Henry. He was a go getter and always into something new and exciting for the club. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Take Care....Kim

Henry will be sadly missed. We made a good shuffleboard team, we would take turns having bad days...some games we both struggled but we always had a fun time. I can still hear him making some sort of comment and following it with 'yeah baby!'. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat and family at this difficult time. Cherish the memories and God bless you and your family.

Henry was really quite a unique character. I have many good memories over the years he always had a smile and a good joke to share. He even taught me the two step at the army navy. he is going to be missed. Cheers Henry and much love to all your family.

Henry was a class act, and a very nice person. My dad and I had many great games of snooker together with him over the years at the ANAF #283, and he always brought a smile, a good game, and a laugh along with him. My sincere condolences to Pat & the family...

Rest in peace Henry. It was always a pleasure to see you at conventions. I'll certainly miss the laughs and the camaraderie you've shared with us Cape Bretoners. We've always felt at home when we spent time with you and the crew from Unit 283. I consider myself fortunate to have known you as a friend, and although saddened by your passing, I am left with many fond memories that I will cherish forever. God Bless my Friend, until we meet again.

It’s with deep sorrow that one of the Sharks Alumni has passed away. Henry Hilderbrand also known as triple “H” passed away in his sleep yesterday. He played with the Sharks from 2003 to 2010. He will always be remembered as the Knuckleball King. His ball would vibrate all the way to the catcher's glove, sometimes so much that he had a hard time knowing where it was going to go. When he didn’t pitch he always wanted to play third base so he could show to all the batters he wasn’t worried about being hit 10 feet from the plate. He was one of the toughest ball players to play in the Crestview Men’s Fastball League. He was a full time member of the Anavets, where he will be deeply missed. He was a gamer of all games, but he really enjoyed fastball, pool, and golf. Whenever he was around, he would make you feel that you were on top of the world. He made sure that everybody was smiling and having fun.
