Denny, I'm so sorry. I didn't know, until now. I would have been on the road. I am at home and was listening to your and Hugh's albums, as I often do, and thought, facebook will find them. My heartfelt condolences, Denny. He will have a great back-up band up there!

Hugh, I figure Frank Sinatra will be put off with your arrival as his competition has finally arrived. I know you were one of his fans, but just letting you know we were your fans. Miss you my friend.

Oh my goodness, so many memories. Jeff, I was with your Mom the night she met Hughie (I KNOW you've heard this story a Thousand times -I could have been your Mother!!) lol. He got us under his spell with his rendition of 'Raindrops Keep Fallin on my Head'. Many good times with your folks - too many hangovers to count - ah, youth! Most dapper dresser I ever knew! And how he loved mince and tatties and meat pies! Farewell my friend! My thoughts are with you Jeff - how I wish I could attend his celebration! I will be there in spirit! Please give me a call or email - I think of you often! Love, Auntie Carlyne

I was not fortunate enough to meet Hugh but I am certain that his voice would have brought me joy much in the same way Jeff’s has over the past 6 years. Jeff, you’ve been in my thoughts since I learned of your Dad’s passing. I am glad to know that you are surrounded by people who care about you at this time. When my Dad’s health was uncertain last Fall, your occasional check-ins meant so much to me. Thank you. Stay strong 🙂

It saddens me that I have lost my very good friend Hugh. I met Hugh through his wonderful wife Denny several years ago. I had the pleasure of being Hugh's drummer in the Nite Life Band as well as The Classix Band. He was not only a wonderful singer and entertainer but also had personality plus. Also one of the classiest dressers I have ever met both in public and on stage. It was an honor and my pleasure to have knowN Hugh Adams.

I met Hughie through my best friend/singer Jeff Adams. He would visit our band while we performed in the clubs and would cast his graceful happiness upon us, lighting up the dingiest of venues when he'd pop his head back stage and say (Insert Scottish accent)' ATOMIC CANDY YEEEEAHHHHH!' Our thoughts are with Jeff and Denny in this sad time.

I met Hughie through Denny several years ago, I used to sing with Night Life for several months, but one of the first times I heard Hughie with that wonderful voice, I was hooked. His vocals were awesome, so rich and vibrant and I often thought, wow, I sure wish I could sing like him. Now, every-time I hear a Neil Diamond song on the radio, I automatically think of Hughie. Its amazing how Neil Diamond sounds so much like Hughie when he sings. hehe. I will miss you my friend, and now the angels in Heaven will have another voice to add to the choir.

My family lived next door to Hughie, Pearl, May and Lorraine. They were the best neighbours ever and John and Hugh were there a lot. Jeffrey remember you had Santa visit and being so scared of Doctor Who? You are all in heaven together now xx

I am so sorry for your loss Jeffrey. I have such wonderful memories of all of the adventures, parties, get togethers and karaoke nights at the Norwood with the other five musketeers. His love of music, his love of people, his compassion and his sense of humour will not be forgotten--I can still hear him laugh. He was such a true gentleman-- nobody could wear a tuxedo and 'shiny shoes' like he could. My heart is very sad with you. Big hug. Love Donna

I worked at Yamaha Winnipeg with Denny and I would call their home often. If Denny was not home when I telephoned, I ended up having some lovely conversations with Hugh. He had a great sense of humour! I only met Hugh once but he made such an impression on me! A truly loving, compassionate and delightful man! He will be sadly missed. So sorry for your loss, Denny.

I will miss you every day, my love. Thank you for being such a wonderful person and looking after me all these years. I felt so special to be a part of your life. You were the kindest man I ever knew, and your love for animals was truly amazing. I know that we will be together again someday and until that day, your song will sing through me. I love you so much! Love…Denny xoxox

Hugh has played a huge part in my life as a friend and singing partner. He was clearly the classiest singing partner I've ever worked with and a man of great talent. His distinguished heart was made of gold and I will forever miss him. Love, one of your beloved angels, Denise
