Hello Betty, We connected 2 or 3 years ago and then we lost touch with you and Hugh. It was so nice to met up with you both after so many years. We are so sorry to learn about Hugh's passing. Such a nice photo of him in the newspaper. You will miss him so much - every day will be a challenge for a long time but we hope that some day soon the sun will again shine for you. Death is never easy to accept - you will mourn his passing but, at the same time, you will celebrate him and having had much happiness as you lived the 53 years together. Maybe the best we can do is to hope, believe, care and always remember. "The beauty of days gone by . . . is the memory that lives on forever". We send our sympathy, love and hugs, Brian and June (Cosgrove) Sprott

In 2000, when I lost my job with Dairyworld, I will never forget the voice mail Hugh left me. His message was basically that he didn’t really know what to say but that he wanted me to know that he was thinking of me. I will never forget that voice mail as it taught me a very valuable life lesson. We don’t always have to have all the answers but saying “I’m thinking of you” at times says it all. Thank you Hugh for teaching me that valuable life lesson. Rest In Peace my friend.
