I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I know she was sick for a while, but that does not make it any easier to lose someone you love. I have fond memories of Mrs. Birt from my high school years at Sanford Collegiate. She kept us in line but did so with a great sense of humour. Thinking of you at this most difficult time.

Saddened to read of your Mom's passing. Treasure the memories of this incredible lady. There are so many children (now adults) that were fortunate to have her share her wisdom, humor and caring personality. Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss her until we meet again. I'll bet she, Elwood and Matthew are all enjoying each others company, laughter, and of course ballgames together.

My mother Betty is Ingrid's sister. Ingrid was a loving Auntie. I am a sports fan too so I know we had that in common. Ingrid had a great sense of humor too. When we were together she made me laugh. I am so sorry she had such a hard fight with cancer. The miles kept us apart but we miss you all knowing you are going through such a tough time. My love to our Canadian Family and please know you are in our hearts.
