IRWIN B. THIESSEN It is with sadness the family of Irwin Thiessen announces his passing on Thursday, July 4, 2013. Irwin will be missed by his wife Gloria Denning; sons Paul (Danielle), Mike (Linda); stepson Trevor (Roxanna); grandchildren Colton, Taryn, Brennen, Bryant, Tyler, Tianna; as well as Rowan and Laila Arjoon who will also miss their papa. He is also survived by siblings, Ilene (Paul) Ruggles, Lorna (Abe) Krahn, Harold (Annette), Joe (Trish), brother in law Gordon Krawchuk and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin sister Iona at birth, Cecil and Leslie; parents Jacob and Margraret. Irwin was born in Altona, MB on May 4, 1940. He spent most of his working years operating and repairing heavy equipment. In his spare time he enjoyed repairing and restoring vehicles. Irwin had a great love for children and animals. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and make a fresh pot of coffee. In compliance with Irwin’s wishes there will not be a Funeral Service. A family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate his life. Special thanks to Dr. Caners and the staff at N1 North at Concordia Hospital.
