IVAN SILAR 1929 – 2014 Dad passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Ivan leaves to mourn his daughters Ana (Ivan), Vesna; son George (Janice); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous family members in Croatia and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Ana; his parents; as well as his brother and three brothers-in-law. Dad was born in Zagreb, Croatia and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1970. His favourite pastime was fishing. He and Mom travelled often to the USA and back home to Croatia. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Family would like to thank Dr. Mitchel Bruneau, nurses and staff of Pinawa Hospital for the great care they gave Dad.
