Uncle Jake was my Grandma's brother and I met him once when I brought my Grandma to go visit. Though I only met him once, he was a kind and loving man and it touched me greatly to have met him and his wife Molly.

We first met Uncle Jake when he married Aunty Molly. After that they visited us in Tuelon. Years later we moved to Wpg, in the same block as them. We were 2 doors away. Every morning he would bring the newspaper..Fridays he always liked to go to Smitty's for supper with my late wife + I.. I have fond memories of him. Loved + sadly missed. Van Kruse Sr.
