My Family called him Jim For several years, I would have breakfast with him on Saturday mornings at his house. I always said I came for the tea and a great conversation on science, art, politics, literature, family, and more. No topic was spared. A bright soul in these dark times. Sometimes, my daughter Alicia would come with me, and I could tell that they were birds of a similar nature; art was and is their passion. He loved reviewing the work that she was producing at the college in her first year as a graphic designer. My wife Audrey asked me to check on Jim on Christmas Eve to make sure he had company. It turned out that he was by himself and with no real plans, well, we changed that in a hurry. He came and spent Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and welcomed the new year with us. My little one, Octavia, liked him; he was the official grandpa at the table. While with us, he asked why we had a seat at the table with a plate, fork, knives, and nobody sat there. I told him that is where all the people we love sit with us in these special events, and they are never forgotten. Well, my friend Jim, you have joined the group of people that will always be remembered at our Family table. I am glad you got to see your wife, but I'm sad that it will be a while before we can have breakfast together again. Filipe
