Dad passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Sunnywood Personal Care Home, Pine Falls, Manitoba at the age of 94 years. Left to cherish James’ memory are his wife Joyce; daughters Jennifer Dreger (Wayne); Jillian Whitford; Janice Thompson (Ray); son Jeffery (Carolyn); nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Dad was very proud of his time doing service with the British Royal Navy during WWII. Following the war, he and Mum, Jennifer and Jillian immigrated to Canada where he studied at Trinity College, Toronto, Ontario and entered the priesthood (Anglican Church of Canada) in the mid 1950’s. As per Dad’s wishes, there will not be a service. We want to thank the homecare workers, doctors and staff of Sunnywood Personal Care Home for their support, care and love shown to Dad over the past couple of years.
