JARRETT EDWARD HERZBERG
It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jarrett Edward Herzberg on Thursday, June the 8, 2017. Jarrett is survived by his Mother and Father Patricia and Ralph Herzberg; Brother Liam; Aunt Linda and Uncle Jason Elwood (Darian and Dexter); Auntie Jane and Uncle Vern Schlichting (Derek and Aaron); Auntie Brenda and Uncle Mark (Erika and Nakia); Uncle Ed (Fab, Eddie and Jayden); Uncle Fred Herzberg (Kaylee, Tyson, and Krista); Oma (Gerta Herzberg) and Bubba (Mae Gorber); Fluke (the family dog) along with numerous great Aunts, Uncles and friends. On October 2, 1991 Jarrett Edward Herzberg was born the son of Patricia Gwen Herzberg and Rolf (Ralph) Juergen Herzberg. He graduated from Sanford Collegiate in 2009. He was a member of IBEW Local 2085 where he was serving his electrical apprenticeship. Jarrett loved life especially sports where he was huge fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets. At the age of two years and before he could walk, he was able to name six Winnipeg Jets and their numbers. Jarrett played hockey for ten years and soccer for four in the community of Oak Bluff contributing to many hockey championships. He and his brother Liam loved to produce goofy videos and play pranks both on their friends and their parents. Jarrett could also be seen with Sahil where they both just enjoyed throwing the football around. More often than not, his cousin Erika would keep him in check when he needed it. Jarrett also enjoyed his time out dirt biking, swimming, tubing, camping and fishing at Lester Beach, the Big Whiteshell and Wendigo. Him and his cousin Tyson were especially mischievous and always seemed to get into harmless trouble at Wendigo. Many great Summers were spent there as all the cousins, uncles and aunts were in close proximity. On Friday, June 16, 2017, Jarrett’s Funeral Service, will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street, Winnipeg. MB. A special thanks to Shania and Sahil for helping us through a tough time. In lieu of donations, the family asks that they could be made to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba, Attention Finance Department, 3rd Floor, 1031 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3G 0R8.
