My thoughts go out to all the Foley crew! Memories of the days on Woodworth are numerous. But the ones that stand out for me was the smell of fresh baked bread and Jean's way of embracing you at the door with oven mitts on! What a wonderful woman...and family. Memories live on. Scott Wallace

My deepest condolences to Jean's family. I think you all feel very proud of your dear Mom. Jean indeed was a very kind and humble person. I had the privilege to care for her. Everyone loved her sense of humour, her smiles and the positive remarks she made to others. I remember when I praised her unique characters, she would often say 'because I had a good Mother'. Jean herself gave us a figure of a wonderful mother. We all remember and miss her.

Ma Foley, you will be missed, for many years you were like my second mom, the daily lunches shared with you and Dave of peanut butter sandwiches, dipped in chicken noodle soup, 30 some odd years later I am still enjoying, we have lost a great lady, Jinx, Pat, Mary, Jimmy, and Paul, my thoughts are with you !

I met Mrs. Foley when our family moved to Westwood in 1965. As a mother of 9 kids, she was amazing. Driving them to Catholic School for years. Keeping the house, and rushing here and there. Always had time for a visit with my Mum. Just a fine woman. My sympathies to all of you. Cathie

I had the pleasure of meeting Jean as a teenager and once again meeting Jean during her stay at Misericordia. Jean was a loving, witty and gracious woman whom I am glad to have known.
