JEAN KARAKOLA It is with deep regret that I announce the death of Jean Karakola on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Left to cherish Jean’s memory is her niece Loretta Melnychuk. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Karakola; sister Lilly Ladin; and brother Michael. Jean was born on February 5, 1922 in Winnipeg, MB. She worked as a typist for the Compensation Board. Her favourite pastime was to make clothes and she made all her own clothes. In compliance with Jean’s wishes, there will be no formal Funeral Service. Your Memory Will Last Forever In My Heart.
