Jeannette Rose Lake, late of Winnipeg and formerly of Sedley, SK passed away at the Grace Hospital on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the age of 96 years.
Surviving Jan is her niece Jean Leier of Regina; grandson Tom Lake; nephews Paul, Tom and Leonard Leier, Bob (Eleanore) Baker; Doug and Ray of Alberta; niece Janice of BC; several other nephews and nieces; and sisters in law Margaret and Mitzi. She was predeceased by her parents Joe and Helen Paré; husband Wilf; son Jeff; brothers Gabe, Joe and Ed (Gladys); and sister Florence (Leonard Baker) of Sedley.
Jan was born in Sedley, SK on April 11, 1921 and later moved to Winnipeg with her parents and siblings. She made many friends in her lifetime.
