JEFFREY (JEFF) ANDRUCHUK

1959-2022

With sadness we announce the passing of Jeff Andruchuk on November 8, 2022.

Jeff’s beloved partner Yoko Iwakiri, and their dog Logan, will miss his effervescent presence.

Also remembering Jeff are his brother Rick (Allison) of Canmore AB, sister Justine DeVries (Frank), and sister-in-law Florence Thompson. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews and cousins to recall the stories of his life adventures.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Jean, and brother Mike Jr.

Jeff was educated at St. John’s-Ravenscourt School, St. Paul’s High School, and the University of Manitoba. Following university, Jeff joined his father at Safeway Electric, becoming a Journeyman Electrician and later taking over the business. In 2009 he switched focus and became an instructor of pre-apprentice electricians at Red River College (RRC), continuing in the role he greatly enjoyed until 2022.

Jeff gave us so much to remember: his loyalty, his compassion, and his love of life. His passions also included his many, long-time friendships, travel, and Art Nouveau. For him, new adventures were always just around the corner.

Thank you to the friends who called and visited, and to the staff at Misericordia Health Centre and Tuxedo Villa, for their kindness and care during Jeff’s stay.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 25 at 2:30pm at Prairie Spirit United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, Winnipeg. Masks are recommended.
