JERZY OZAROWSKI

1936 – 2024

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather, Jerzy Ozarowski, on March 12, 2024 at the age of 87. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his side.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years Urszula, children Andrew and Yvonne, grandchildren Kendra and Rachel, and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Aleksander and Maria, sisters Honorata Kowalski, Helena Haskrewicz and brother Jozef.

Jerzy was born in Jawory, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1965. He worked for C.P. Rail where he retired after 30 years in 2001.

He enjoyed going on warm vacations. Many summers were spent enjoying cottage life in Winnipeg Beach.

Special thanks to the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for all the special care and support shown to Jerzy.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel,1020 Main Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
