JIRI BELOHLAVEK
January 19, 1958 – October 30, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, uncle and brother-in-law, Jiri (George) Belohlavek, on October 30, 2022, after a brief stay in hospital, at the age of 64.

Jiri is survived by his loving wife, Lynda; sister-in laws Sharon (Adam), Louise (Len) and Debra; numerous nieces and nephews and his uncle Milan (Eva). He is predeceased by his father Jiri (Zdena) and mother Hana.

Jiri immigrated to Canada from the Czech Republic at the age of 18 and started work at Canadian Pacific on his 20th birthday until his retirement. Jiri loved soccer, hockey, loud music and fine food.

There will be a Celebration of his Life on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1755 Portage Ave. from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
