Just returned to the city and heard the sad news. I know he had not been well for some time but always a shock. I will always remember the long conversations we had about the proper way to clean the house and wash clothes. You can't talk about those things with most men. Tons of fun and lots of laughs. I will miss him very much.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with John when my husband and I were in Winnipeg. He was such a great guy to work with every day. Regardless of the challenges that we faced there was nothing that couldn't be worked out. He believed in laughter as part of everyday medicine. He was really one of a kind. Rest in peace John - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. I know how much you adored them.

Heather and family, my sincere condolences on your loss. John was an amazing individual with a love of life few ever experience. I am thankful for having known John and without him I wouldn't have had the business opportunities I still enjoy today. A wonderful man with a good heart. He will be missed by all.

John was a wonderful part of my life growing up, along with Pat and Judi. I treasure memories of many happy gatherings of the Browns and the Coulters. My thoughts are with Heather and family, Auntie Ev and the Browns.
