My condolences to the family. John always had a smile on his face and I as well have fond memories of him at the cottage. I have a wonderful picture of him with my daughters at the cottage when they were young which I will treasure. Rest in Peace John.

While I have not seen John in many years, I always remember the weekends up at my Uncle Fred's cabin in Belair and John was always around with a smile on his face and a joke to be told. Truly one of the kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Uncle John - that is what he was to me! He has been my Uncle since....well as long as I can remember. We spent our summers and weekends out at Lester Beach growing up. Uncle John and Aunty Greta were only up the road and when I was just little it was always a big adventure to be able to walk down the road to their cottage and visit. When Aunty Greta was gone, we all still kept going down to see Uncle John. Always ready with a story or a joke, always happy to see us and give us a big hug ! Then when I had my children, I didn't get to see Uncle John as often but when I did he was always happy to see us and give us our hugs and hear all the latest news about the kids.Uncle John you will be missed. Rest easy now. XXOO Love Tiffany Connor and Chloe
