So sorry to learn of Mr. Coward's passing. He was a kind, gentle soul who was a great teacher to all of us who passed through his classroom at Tec-Voc. He was always generous with his life advice, often while watching him work. His hand holding an airbrush, beautiful images appeared with a flick of his wrist upon the board. He really was magically talented. I would run into Ron here and there in later life, and I'm glad I got to thank him for being a great mentor and teacher. He really was one of a kind. To this day, I think of him whenever I start work on a blank board or clean sheet of paper.

Posted by Jeff Gilfix, Student at Tec Voc 1983-85. I First met Mr Coward in the fall of 1982 while taking an Airbrush course he was teaching. He was such a great inspiration and influence to me! He inspired me to further my training in advertising art, and I have been self employed in this field ever since. Mr. Coward's kindness, patience and calm were not only such great attributes to have as a human being, but made him such a wonderful teacher! I learned a lot from you Mr Coward! I can never Thank you enough!

much love to you Auntie Norma - I always remember Uncle Ronnie with a huge smile and a big laugh. I so loved him for letting me vigourously scratch his back at Grand Beach, even though I must have been just really digging in. I was gifted one of Uncle Ronnie's paintings from Mom and Dad and it has been hanging in either my dining room or bedroom for almost 20 years. Everytime I look at it I think of all of you. You are in my prayers Much Love, Norma

There is a name that brought back some fond memories, great lessons were learnt from such a gentle soul. I couldn’t help but smile when I saw his picture but all the while saddened to hear of his passing. Rest In Peace Mr Coward.

R.I.P. Mr. Coward, I had the pleasure of you teaching me about advertising art with Mr. Spillar and Mr. Johnson. You were all great teachers may the most high allow you to teach art in heaven, I know you will make it more beautiful than what it is now.

Mr. Coward was my favourite Advertising Art teacher at Tec Voc. Such a talented artist and gentle man. I hope he knew the impact he had on so many young people. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
