George was an extraordinary man! A leader not follower.I miss him dearly and he was my best friend. Someone who was full of hope and life. Always there to help people and never said no. His loss can never be replaced. RIP dear friend!

I love and miss you Grandpa. You will always be in my heart. It is said that blood is thicker than water, but in our case Love is thicker than both. You were never my blood relative but you proved many times over that blood isn't the only thing that makes you family. I will always remember and cherish our time and memories together. You were more than just a Grandpa to me. You were my best friend... You were like a father to me. I love you and miss you so very much. I just wish I could have seen you one last time. :'(

Our family worked for George when he owned Joli-Jons in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to a wonderful mentor, boss, friend and man. You will be deeply missed. Rose=Anne, Marlene, Susan
