JOSEPH EDWARD SILMAN JR.

     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Silman Jr. on September 28, 2022, born August 30, 1979, the only child of Eve and Joseph Silman, and Dad to Roxy and Cash.

Joe passed away suddenly after a brief illness and will be forever missed, loved and remembered by his parents Joseph and Eve Silman, his darling children Roxy and Cash (mom Marcy), along with his aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends and work buddies.

Joe’s K-12 years were spent at St. Maurice School, continuing his education at Red River College in the carpentry program, leading to a fulfilling career where he proved to be a man of fine skill and talents. Working these past years at Assiniboine Park Zoo brought him much joy, and his children always burst with pride when they could visit and spot their Dad fixing an animal cage.

Joe loved the outdoors and made many happy memories fishing with his friends, who were incredibly important to him. He had a sharp sense of humour and could always tell a good story. To know Joe was to instantly love him and find a new best friend.

We will have a service for Joe on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Wojcik’s 1020 Main St. Wpg, MB at 1:00 pm.
