Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Joseph Tong King on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in Regina, Saskatchewan, at the age of 52 years. He was a resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Left to forever cherish Joseph?s memory are his beloved wife, Sarah King; children, Tong, Adeeng, Manute and a baby due in early May, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents, Kuthpin Tong and Akon Mayen.
Joseph?s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB, with Pastor James Okot, presider. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Vital Cemetery in the Roman Catholic Section, 236 River Road, Winnipeg, MB.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, spiritual care, and social work at the MICU at the Regina General Hospital who took exceptional care of Joe while he was in their care.
