Where to start.....Uncle Joe was so kind and welcoming...I remember family gatherings where he and my dad Art would be laughing and joking.....I spent many sleepovers at their home with cousins Linda and Joan plus all the special memories at Falcon Lake.....Uncle Joe you'll be missed but will always remain in my heart.

A wedding was not a wedding if you didn't get up to polka with Uncle Joe, he taught many of us younger ones how to polka. What a great picture of him.

My husband, Jim, and I have known and had great times with Joe over many years. He was one of a kind and a great person to be around......so full of fun and mischief and always cheerful, even in his later years as his health began to deteriorate. I'm proud to have known him and will miss seeing him at the semi-annual CBC luncheons.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. The notice says it all. A great guy to work with and be around. I sometimes called him Ernie due to what I thought was his resemblance to the famous actor Ernest Borgnine. I don't think he thought so but we both had a laugh over it now and again. Take some comfort in the knowledge that he had such a positive effect on so many outside his immediate family
