Joan, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. My memories of your Dad are of his skills as a craftsman; from his work at your place at Falcon, to the beautiful home he built himself in the city. My thoughts are with you and Linda.

My wife and I both worked at CBC. We curled in the Broadcasters' Mixed curling for many years with him. Joe was a great guy and a lot of fun. He'll be missed.

Joan, you're on my mind. I only know your Dad through one of his daughters, but that's enough to tell me he must have been someone special. Look after yourself and your family, and celebrate the man he was.
