John and Rob, My condolences on the passing of your mother. She was a great mother and a person who I enjoyed spending time with when over visiting on Pinewood as was your father. I will remember them fondly.

I'm sorry that my health in recent years has prevented me from visiting Joy, other than the odd phone call. We became friends at Guild meetings and working at the Children's Hospital Book Market. My sympathies to all the family. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the service, so I will close with the pet name we called each other (with an Irish brogue): 'Farewell, me everlastin' darlin'!'

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I remember her the day of my mom's funeral with Sheila having our home set for everyone. Many happy memories from growing up on Pinewood Drive.

Mrs. Middleton was a wondeful neighbor... when I was a little girl I would love to play with the Middleton's dog Middy... on occazion I would walk Middy and Mrs. Middleton would pay me ten cents... I thought I was rich!! My thoughts and prayers to John and Rob and their families at this time... your Mom was truly a very gracious lady... sincerely, Dawn McClure-Anderson
