JOYCE BLANCHARD (nee PETRIE) On Thursday, October 23, 2014, Joyce, beloved wife of Don Blanchard of Headingley, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 77 years. An avid bowler, curler and camper, she will be forever loved and missed by her children Linda (Peter) Grant, Donald (Loretta) Blanchard and Cheryl (Terry) Bercier, and many fun loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her passing her sister Margaret Ness, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mini and Charlie Petrie; twin sons Ronald and Donald Blanchard; brother Alf Petrie; grandson Brian Ribbers, and daughter-in-law Sandi. A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at a later date.
