Joyce Emily Weippert (Ryner) passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the age of 81 years, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
On July 27, 1934 Joyce was born in Montr?al, Qu?bec to her late parents Edward and Emily Weippert (nee Fuller). She grew up with her siblings, Edward, Nelson, Diane and Linda. Joyce attended secretary school at the Mother House and worked as a legal secretary with several Montr?al law firms in order to raise her four sons, Perry (deceased), Roderick, Lawrence and Carson Ryner. She later moved to Ottawa, Ontario and finally to Winnipeg, Manitoba to be closer to her many grandchildren (her little angels). From a young age to her final days, Joyce was blessed with a beautiful singing voice which could always be heard soaring above all others at church.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Lion’s Place Auditorium, 610 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Interment will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Montr?al Memorial Gardens, 3955 Cote de Liesse Avenue, Montr?al, QC.
