JUDITH DIANE DEMSKI(nee Hales)

   Mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully July 27, 2017 at the age of 73.    Judy displayed a generosity of spirit towards her family and friends, always having time for a chat or visit. She was a devoted mom, spending many hours with her children and their activities; a prouder hockey mom could not be found. She also delighted in the activities of her grandchildren. She had a strong work ethic, taking pride in building a data processing business and working alongside her family in building their house in Winnipeg and cottage at Kenora. Many adventures and good times shared with family and friends at the lake created cherished memories.    She was predeceased by her daughter Lori, parents Robert and Marjorie, brother Bob and her long-time companion Gord. She is survived by her son James (Shelley), grandchildren Nicolas, A.J., Ava and Natasha; brother Bill (Pat), sister-in-law Dorothy, cousins, and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her ex-husband Ed.    The family thanks the staff at Victoria General Hospital and Deer Lodge Centre for the care and attention given to Judy over the past 18 months. Her family will gather to celebrate her life at a later date.    Those wishing to honour her memory are encouraged to raise a glass, share a laugh, or hug their loved ones.
