Judy was such a role model for all us tennis brats hanging out at the Canoe Club in the 60's and early 70's. Her calm disciplined manner on the court was not lost on the Juniors watching her play. Her precision and patience as she practiced her ground strokes for hours every day was inspiring. We all wanted to hit the ball like Judy. She was a remarkable athlete and a gracious and kind lady.

What wonderful memories I have of Judy when we were kids playing tennis. Also knew Judy during our badminton years as well. She certainly was deserving of a place in the Manitoba Tennis Hall of Fame. I am so sorry for her family, Bryan and Riley, Rick and his family. I also knew her dad, Lloyd Borland, who was a wonderful tennis instructor for all the kids at The Wildewood Club. She will be missed by many. My sincere condolences. Joy Knudson (Campbell)

Judy. Her trademark glorious smile. Her genuine interest in what a person was saying. Her knack for making a person feel comfortable and accepted. What a lady, Judy was. Classy. Humble. How fortunate I was to have known her. And to experience being on the same squash court with her, a bonus. Judy could place that squash ball wherever she wanted to. Take care, Brian, Riley and family, Rick, Heather and family. Annie Klein
