JUNE MARY ZOPPA (GRAY)

With great sadness we announce the passing of June on January 11, 2024, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Zoppa, brother Alec Gray, and granddaughter Stacy Ormiston. Left to cherish June’s many memories are her 3 children Lisa Zoppa(Ron), Len Zoppa, and Carol Ormiston(Keith), brother John Gray, grandchildren Brent Ormiston(Stacey), and Kristal Ormiston, great-grandchildren Sawyer Ormiston and Rhett Ormiston. She will also be remembered by many other family members, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family pets also looked forward to her visits and they are also going to miss her and the treats.

In her many years, she embarked on many exciting ventures owner of racehorses, a grocery store, 2 restaurants, and worked for many years for Canadian Diabetes. After retiring from Canadian Diabetes mom started gardening and would have as many as 50 tomato plants growing as well as other vegetables. She was always  eager to try a new seed . Her greatest love of all was spending time with her family and cooking up some of her loved recipes, relaxing pool time, taking long rides, and stopping for neighborhood burgers.

Our family would like to thank Doctor C Winogrodzka at Birchwood Medical for the many years she cared for our mother.
